Controller
The controller for data processing is Dawid Michota (philosopht), ul. Świętokrzyska 41A, 26-001 Wola Kopcowa, Poland. E-mail: [email protected].
Hosting
This website is served as static files. On access, the hosting provider processes technically necessary server log data (including IP address, timestamp, requested resource) on the basis of our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and audience measurement
We set no analytics cookies without your consent. We only store a functional language preference in your browser (session storage "philosopht_entry" and local storage "philosopht_dach") so the DACH variant of the site is shown to you consistently in German or English when you arrived via the German/DACH entry. These contain no personal data and can be cleared at any time via your browser. Separately, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics — see the next section.
Google Analytics (consent only)
For audience measurement we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited; data processing may also involve Google LLC, USA). It runs under Google Consent Mode v2: before you consent, no analytics cookies are set and no identifiers are transmitted. Only once you accept in the cookie banner are cookies set and usage data processed (including a truncated IP address, pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser). The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by re-opening the cookie banner from the footer link and rejecting.
Fonts
Fonts (IBM Plex) are served locally from our own server (self-hosted). There is no connection to third-party CDNs such as Google Fonts and no transfer of your IP address to third parties.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the data you provide (name, business e-mail, message) is processed to handle your enquiry. Delivery is handled technically by the Web3Forms service (a processor). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Appointment booking via Google Calendar
For scheduling calls we use the appointment scheduling feature of Google Calendar (Google Ireland Limited; data processing may also involve Google LLC, USA). When you book, your name, e-mail address and the subject you provide are processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information, see Google's privacy policy. The booking page opens in a new tab only when you actively click it; no connection to Google is made before that.
Retention
Enquiry data is deleted once it is no longer needed to handle your request, at the latest after 12 months if no cooperation begins.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and withdrawal of a given consent, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
